Performs landscape services including planting trees/shrubs/plants, irrigation system installations/modifications, laying compost/rock/bark, sod installations, paver installations, rock/retainer walls, and cleaning up after completion of projects. Understands and employs basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant water requirements, and weekly irrigation schedules. Accurately completes paperwork (including billing and inventory management), operates equipment properly with respect, and performs mechanical work on equipment as needed. Works according to safety procedures and represent the company in a professional manner. Provides value, quality, and a high level of customer service to clients.
This position is from approx. March to December. In most cases, earnings during the work months is equivalent to working 40 hours a week for 12 months.
Starting pay DOE: $15.00+/hr.
Additional increases based upon achieving service goals. Advancement opportunities available.
The successful candidate must have an aptitude to learn, able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing, able to problem-solve with good judgment, able to work independently and with others, able to multi-task, be responsible, dependable, accurate, organized, ethical, and detailed, able to lift more than 50 pounds, and able to deliver excellent customer service. The candidate will be driven by goals, must have a clean driving record, drug free, and enjoy working outside.
